The other day Mr. Brayden would not sleep during his afternoon nap so he joined me while I was cooking dinner. I was chopping the onion in the food processor and his feet say the rest! The noise of the processor is a bit obnoxious but his feet and face were just too funny.

Let's Swing
Last time Nana and Pop Pop were here they wanted to add a little touch that was missing in our backyard. So Pop Pop decided that the kids needed a swing. Needless to say by the ear to ear grins these two LOVE their swing. Brayden gets a huge kick out of it any time he starts swinging and Keely will come up to us and ask to "ing, ing"! We have a great time each evening hanging out on the deck and letting them swing away. Great add Nana and Pop Pop!

Helmet What...Helmet Who?!?!?
THE HELMET IS GONE!!!!!! We received the WONDERFUL news today at Brayden's follow up with the neurosurgeon. Today was the 3 month post-op check up with Dr. Marchand. He walked into the office, looked at his head and said "I don't think he needs that helmet anymore." To which I replied, "REALLY!!!!" So we waited to have his head measured and the numbers don't lie. His head shape is within 'normal' range. Yay for Brayden!!!! I couldn't be happier. With the weather getting warmer and warmer it was becoming such a struggle seeing Brayden roast in his little helmet. The overwhelming relief that Brent and I feel right now is indescribable! Thank you everyone for your support, understanding, and keeping us in your thoughts these last few months. We will continue to see the neurosurgeon for check up's but as of now he is progressing right on track and doing great. Way to go little buddy!

Signs of Spring
The many signs that Spring is upon us...
Ahh yes, it is that time of the year again. The weather is getting warm and that means a permanent layer of dust on my tile because the backyard projects start up again. All joking aside I really do not complain because Brent has done such an AMAZING job on the yard. It's really coming along and soon we will have a patio to play ball on and grass to run it! It's so incredible to see Brent hard at work doing all of these projects and just knowing how to do them. How do guys do that? Believe it or not I've even got my hands a little dirty and have been able to help (again, just a little, but I'm learning and trying). We can't wait to for the project to be complete and have friends/family over for some summer BBQ's!
The butterfly's fluttering about.
The humms of the hummingbird.
The sounds of Brent destroying working the backyard.

6 Months Old
Weight 17 lbs 5 oz (50th percentile)
Height 27 in (75 th percentile)
Head Circumference 44 cm (50-75 th percentile)
Brayden boy is 6 months old! He's a growing boy who really lights up our lives. It so fun to see him develop more and more into his own personality. He's got the biggest smile and the best laugh. We had his check-up today and overall he's a healthy, growing boy. We had to hold off on shots for a few more weeks...which is okay with me because shot day is never fun. He was a great patient for the doc and we were glad to hear he's doing pretty good!
