New Furniture

Our house is slowly preparing for a boy! Not sure what to do with all the blue and green, but I'm definitely getting used to it :) Keely's not to sure what to make of the other "bed" in the guest room. She loves the mobile and gets very excited when she's in the room. Right now Brayden's room is being occupied by Lydia until August. That's when we'll really start to get the room ready. Brent was in charge of picking the crib and bedding. He went with a Military Flight theme (can't imagine why, ha ha). Hope you all like it, most of all I hope Brayden will!

Reading Is Fun!

So we were suckered into the Toys R Us ad that came into the mail and got Keely her own little chair to read her books. She really loves being able to crawl into her own chair that's just her size. Our little bookworm sure enjoys her books!

Spray Park!

Today I took Keely to the Spray Park with my friend Natalie and her daughter Olivia and she had so much fun. It was great to let her be able to play in the water and me not worry about her falling into a pool. She loved splashing the water on the ground and having the water fall on her head. Mostly she just enjoyed being able to walk around independently and saying hello to everyone around. It was a blast and I can't wait to go again!

30 WEEKS!

Are you kidding me, we're at 30 weeks already! I can't believe how this pregnancy has flown by so fast. Now here we are with only 10 weeks left, if I make it that long! Something tells me this little guy will make his world debut before "D" day. I'm still feeling good, although this pregnancy is nothing like Keely's. Many of the common aches and pains associated with pregnancy I am fortunate to say I didn't really experience the first go around. However, not the same this time around. *DISCLOSURE* I am about to do some major whining, if you don't want to hear it just don't read. This time around I have the wonderful back pain. Oh the back pain! It doesn't seem like I can get much relief other than lay flat on my back for about 45 minutes, but who has time for that. Another new symptom for me is the never ending bathroom runs. They say boys carry different than girls and they are right. He is VERY active though and that is so much fun. Brent gets to feel so much more movement with this little guy than Keely, she liked to play hide and seek with Daddy (and still does).

I had my 30 week check up yesterday. We are now going every two weeks until the last month when we'll be at every week. I'm still measuring right where I should be, between 30-31 weeks. Brayden was active for the midwife during the check-up which was more good news, showing her a very healthy baby. His heart rate was at 136 BPM. Good reports from the midwife saying everything still looks great and both Baby and myself are right where we should be.

On another note, here is a look at Keely's day today with Lydia. I think these two are just having way too much fun together. Looks like Lydia really wore Keely out. Keely was in her jumperoo and Lydia left for a minute...when she returned this is how she found her...

Poor thing was so tired she didn't even budge when she took her out of the jumperoo...

Needless to say this little girl was out and took a 3 1/2 hour nap! She was a very happy girl when she woke up.

Keely and Lydia Time

This month I've been teaching Summer School and Keely's cousin Lydia has moved in for the month working as the live in sitter. Keely and Lydia have been having a lot of fun together during the days taking walks and playing different games at the house. Here are some of their moments together from the past couple weeks, the video is a little long but so hilarious.

Hanging Out with Grandma & Pop Pop

Last week Brent's parents came to visit. They had a great time hanging out with Keely and even spoiling her a bit too. Here are some moments of their visit:

Catching up on kisses from Grandma
Getting my first Popsicle from Pop Pop
Eating my Popsicle with Pop Pop
Hanging out on the 4th

Sitting in a new chair that Grandma and Pop Pop got.
Even though it was a short visit we had a great time and look forward to seeing them again in just 2 months when #2 will be coming!

Happy 4th of July

This was our first 4th back in the USA in 3 years and the first in our new home of Los Lunas. The fireworks were booming and Keely wasn't too sure what to make of all the noise. At first she didn't like it and would not let go of myself or her Grandma, but after eating some dinner and seeing that everything was okay she did much better (this also may be because she was so exhausted getting to stay out past her bedtime for the first time ever). Overall, we had a great time with friends and family and enjoyed being back in the States to celebrate our Country's Independence and Freedom.

One long day
HAPPY 4TH EVERYONE!

Week 28

Here we are, week 28 and in the 3rd trimester! I'm measuring 27cm and everything is still going really well. I had my check-up this morning with Felicia (my Midwife). Results from my glucose test were great, no chance of getting gestational diabetes and no anemia for this lady, yeah! We brought Keely with us to the appointment again today and Brent was able to come too. So here is a look at our checkup today with Keely listening to her Brother. She was a lot more mellow from our last appointment, but still so much fun for Brent and I to see her trying to figure what was going on.
