Just Keep Swimming
It is that time of year again! Time to break out the pool, the suits, and enjoy some fun in the sun. Keely was so excited to see her pool again and couldn't wait to jump in an play. She had even more fun having her brother join her for the excitement. She loves to splash him and show him what to do. Thankfully, Brayden is used to the water in his face from bath time with his sister. Although he enjoys the water just as much. Can't wait for swimming at Nana & Pop Pop's this summer!

Class of 2010!
Yeah for Brent!!!! On Saturday Brent graduated from The College of Santa Fe and he couldn't be happier. We had a great weekend celebrating with family and friends. Brent's brother, aunt, uncle, and cousin surprised him by joining his parents to come out to watch him walk and get that diploma. It was their first trip to the Southwest and can you believe we somehow went through the whole weekend without any New Mexican food! Such shame I know. Hopefully next time. After graduation we headed back to our house where friends, family, and neighbors joined us for food and fun to congratulate the graduate. We are all so proud of Brent on this amazing accomplishment. It wasn't easy, but he always meets any goal he sets for himself. And through all the hard work and sacrifices he did it!!

Weekend Fun!
This weekend was packed with fun for all of us. Yesterday we started the day going to our friends birthday party. I can't even describe how much fun Keely had. She bounced away like T-I-G-G-E-R for hours in the jumper they had. She also got her first try at a pinata. I think she was more excited that it looked like a zebra but she tried to hit it a few times. After a quick nap we headed to Albuquerque for a BBQ with a group of friends and all their kiddos. It was so much fun to see the next generation playing together. So weird to also look back and realized these were friends from Middle School and now our kids are friends, growing up together. Even better that we're still friends and building so many more memories together as parents.
Today, of course, was Mother's Day and the day couldn't have been spent better than with my family. I woke up to my wonderful husband and beautiful kids welcoming me with cards, gifts, and many kisses & hugs. We spent the day at home enjoying our yard and putting the finishing touches to it. It couldn't have been any better. Thank you to my wonderful family for making this Mother feel extra special and thank you to our Mom's. You have showed me how to be a great Mother and I hope that I make you proud! Love you!!!!

Hugs are Special
Everytime I turn around Keely is giving Brayden a hug...and he LOVES it! I know I've said it before, but I really can't express how much joy it brings to my heart watching these two interact and the little gestures of love they show each other. I guess I'm trying to savor these moments for the future bickering and fighting that is inevitable between siblings. But for now I just love watching these two and the special hugs they give each other.
