Bedtime Fun
Washing her hair (Keely likes to help scrub, and I was having fun giving her a mohawk)
Brushing her teeth. When we ask Keely if she is ready to brush her teeth she gets SO excited. She laughs and runs to the bathroom signing brush teeth. It's way too cute.
Her newest thing, brush her tongue. She thinks it's the funniest thing.

OCD+Nesting=One Crazy Mama
Seriously, I've got a problem. Not only am I dealing with my normal "cleaning" drive that I have instilled in my routine now I have the lovely pregnancy "nesting" to deal with. This week alone I have organized 3 closets, washed Brayden's clothes, bedding, ect..., got most of his room ready, put anything I can up for sale on Craigslist, and wiped all the baseboards downstairs (including the stairs). I think I have a problem, a serious problem. All I know is that I have to get this house clean and it's just not cutting it. As I check things off my list other things come up, I'm hoping to just slow down next week but this drive inside me may not let it happen...I think I need an intervention.

Couch Crazy
So, Keely has been trying to conquer climbing up on the couch. She still can't quiet make it on her own, but Daddy was nice enough to give her a little boost. Now she is in her glory being able to get up on her own. She has such a look of accomplishment when she gets up there. Probably not the best encouragement but when I'm making dinner and the one thing she wants to do is be on that couch...well you know...a Mom's gotta do what a Mom's gotta do!

I Just Want to Dance
This is a video Lydia took last month of Keely dancing. She's pretty entertaining when she starts to get her groove on. Once you put music on it is like she can't help herself and has to start moving. It doesn't really matter what it is: Brent playing guitar, phone ring tones, radio, ect... Her big thing is to twirl, nod her head or move her arms about. I think this girl will be a "Dancing Queen" just like Mamma was, or maybe she'll be a "Headbanging Metal Head" like Daddy. Only time will tell!

34 Weeks
Here we are 34 weeks! Only 6 more weeks till "D" day. I can't believe that we're so close and I feel like I have so much to do. I think they refer to that as nesting. This month I'm trying to take care of all those little things that I put off for the longest time. We put up our spare bedroom furniture and my wedding dress on craigslist. Hoping to get a new dresser for Brayden with some of that money. Last week Brent was off of work so we spent the week going through the spare bedroom closet. We still had boxes in there from our move that we never went through. Mostly CD's, computer books, and all my teaching books/materials I've accumulated. We plan on getting Brayden's room ready and hopefully done by Labor Day weekend when Brent's parents arrive. Next on my list of things to do is finish Keely's scrapbook. I figure I should have hers done before we have another baby, looks like my time is getting short on that.
Still feeling pretty good, a little fatigue again. Mostly struggling with moving around but I think I just notice that more because I'm trying to do things with Keely. I'm starting up my prego yoga again trying to prepare and strengthen my body more before labor. Keely and I are also taking daily walks now. She loves being outside and able to have her independence to walk on her own. It allows her to get out more energy and isn't so bad for me either :) I have my next check up tomorrow and hope to hear that Brayden and I are still on track. He is sure the active baby. Brent keeps reminding me that this one will probably give me a bit more grief. The other night I felt like there was a circus in my belly. We are just so excited to meet him and have the addition to our family!

Bowl of Cheerios
Lately Keely has seemed a little bored with breakfast so we thought we'd try out real cereal. Here she is eating Cheerios with milk and out of the bowl. She still needs some guidance but she's really starting to get the hang of utensils, go Keely!

Bye-Bye Lydia
Friday was my last day of work and Lydia's last day with us. She has spent the last two months living with us and had to go back home this weekend. What a big help it was having her here looking after Keely and helping me out on those nights when I was just beat. Brent had a lot of fun getting to pick on a 16 year old. I was able to get a glimpse to what the future will hold for Keely, poor thing doesn't know what she's in for. Although Keely won't remember when her cousin lived with us and took care of her, we were able to capture a lot of fun moments on camera that she will be able to look back on.
